Intensive Care Unit (ICU) – 10 Beds
Capacity:: The ICU has 10 beds for critically ill patients requiring continuous monitoring and advanced medical support.
Purpose:: It provides intensive care for patients requiring a higher level of clinical observation and treatment than general wards.
Patient Profile:: It accommodates patients with severe infections, respiratory failure, trauma, cardiovascular emergencies, major postoperative complications, or organ dysfunction.
Facilities and Care: The ICU provides continuous monitoring, critical-care equipment, oxygen and ventilatory support, intravenous medicines, fluids, and other required interventions.
Medical Coordination:: The unit coordinates with critical-care specialists, medicine, surgery, emergency, diagnostics, laboratory, pharmacy, and other services.
Safety and Infection Control::: Strict hand hygiene, equipment disinfection, environmental cleaning, medication safety, and infection-control protocols are followed.
Continuity of Care:: Patients are continuously assessed and either remain in intensive care or transfer to an appropriate ward when clinically stable.
