Gynaecology Ward – 30 Beds
Capacity:: The Gynaecology Ward has 30 beds for specialized inpatient care of women requiring treatment, observation, procedures, Caesarean section (C-section), or postoperative recovery.
Purpose::It provides a safe, hygienic, and comfortable environment for gynaecological and obstetric care, including C-section services, with appropriate attention to privacy and dignity.
Patient Profile:: The ward manages menstrual disorders, abnormal bleeding, fibroids, ovarian conditions, pelvic infections, endometriosis, pregnancy-related conditions, and women requiring C-section delivery and postoperative care.
Facilities and Care::Patients receive bedside care, vital-sign monitoring, prescribed medicines, personal-care assistance, C-section preoperative and postoperative care, wound care, pain management, and recovery support.
Medical Coordination::The ward coordinates with gynaecologists and obstetricians, operation theatre and anaesthesia services for C-sections, laboratory, diagnostic, pharmacy, and other relevant departments.
Safety and Infection Control::Hygiene, sanitation, infection prevention, surgical safety during C-section procedures, medication safety, environmental cleanliness, privacy, and patient safety are maintained.
Continuity of Care::Patients are managed from admission through treatment, C-section where required, postoperative recovery, and discharge with appropriate medication, wound-care, maternal-care, and follow-up instructions.
